The fastest way to get to SIARGAO is with the direct
flight from Manila to Surigao City. This flight was

flight. Unfortunately The Asian Spirit has suspended
their direct flights since January 18. We will keep
you posted when the flights resume again.
Cebu Pacific flies from Cebu to Siargao
Low-fare airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) starts its thrice-weekly
service from Cebu to Siargao today.
The Cebu-Siargao service operates every Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday. The flight departs from Cebu

return flight leaves at 12:15pm and reaches Cebu
at 1:25pm.
“We believe that this new service will provide
great convenience to travelers looking for a speedy
and affordable means of going to the surfing capital
of Philippines,” said Candice Iyog, CEB Vice President
for Marketing and Distribution.
“Siargao is a prime leisure destination and has

and foreign tourists. We hope many will take advantage
of this air travel option between the two tourism
driven islands of Cebu and Siargao,” she added.
“We are grateful to Cebu Pacific for its first
commercial flight to Siargao Island. This will enhance
and further boost our tourism landscape, and stimulate
job employment. Siargao is a popular for destination
for surfers and we are also developing this destination
for game fishing,” said Hon. Congressman Francisco
Matugas, Representative of the First District of
Surigao del Norte.
Instead of taking bus and ferry rides from Surigao,
passengers can avail of CEB’s one hour and ten minute

The daily flights departing Manila at 7:30AM
and 1PM arrive too late to catch any ferries
from Surigao City to Siargao Island. However
you can charter a boat that can take you all
the way to Patrick’s Beach. You would have to
overnight either in Butuan or in Surigao. Once
you arrive in Butuan take a taxi to the Bus
& Van Terminal and
take the bus or a van from Butuan Bus Terminal
to Surigao Bus Terminal. This is a two hour
scenic ride. Price for the bus fare is around
P90 and the van which is faster is P120. You
need no reservation, simply ask for the next
van or bus leaving. Once you arrive at the Surigao
City bus terminal simply take any available
transport to the Surigao Pier or we can meet
you there. Flying from Manila to Butuan and
by van to Surigao and the by Ferry to Siargao
is probably the least expensive way to get to
Patrick’s. Depending on the airline ticket it
is around P3500 to P4000 one way.
If you take the Philippine Airlines early morning
flight at 5:10AM from Manila to Butuan you will
have no problem catching the noon ferry from
Surigao City to Dapa/Siargao.

that leaves daily (except on Sundays) at 7PM
from pier1 in Cebu to Surigao. (for details
